Parent Retreats #1- #3

Parent Retreats are progressive opportunities for parents to come to the Heartlight campus to learn from Heartlight’s Executive Director, Mark Gregston.  Parents are also given plenty of time to spend with their child’s counselor, academic coordinator, and other house staff. These retreats focus on material that coincides with each residents’ progression through the Heartlight Level System, helping parents understand what to expect from their child at each level and providing encouragement. Parents are requested to attend all 3 retreats while their child is a resident of Heartlight.  It is very important for the success of the program for the student to see that his or her parents are learning from the program, just as they are.
